The Federation of Indian Association of Victoria (FIAV) is an actively supportive organization to facilitate Indian community in the state of Victoria. FIAV is playing a pivotal role in responding to the needs of the community and currently provide assistance to individuals, families and International students of Indian origin.

We have assisted several domestic violence victims and handled a number of cases in the most professional manner, and at the same time respecting the privacy & security of the Victims. Services provided so far have been voluntary and a free service to the victims. All such services provided so far have been free of cost to the community. To expand and boost these services, FIAV aims to establish “Indian Community Services panel” to support victims of domestic violence and others in need.

This will be an independent statutory body approved by the executive members of FIAV.

Psychologists 2 positions
Counselors 2 positions
Senior Citizens 2 positions
community representatives 4 positions
General Practitioners 2 positions
Solicitors 2 positions

In addition to providing with career/ business/ education advice this team will also include professionals like small Business consultants, vocational counselors, accountants and tax consultant.
